The Squared Collection
The Squared Collection is a series of lighting and furniture pieces built from soft cube forms. Inspired by a moment of play between Daniel Shapiro and his 1-year-old son, the idea grew into a 10-piece collection that went on to win Best Body of Work at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2025.
“Winkle Ceramic Design’s Squared Collection Is Generations in the Making”

ceramics in his DNA”
The Longfellow Lamp is Winkle’s newest table lamp, named after Longfellow Boulevard in St. Louis’s historic Compton Heights neighborhood where designer Daniel Shapiro lives. Its stacked, rounded form takes cues from the blown glass street lamps that once lined the boulevard. The design is available in marbled, plaster, and glazed finishes.
